To commemorate Poson Poya Day, students at Udupila Weera Vijayaba Maha Vidyalaya participated in a special observing sil program. The event was a moment of quiet reflection and mindfulness, where students gathered to honor the teachings of Lord Buddha. Through silence, they symbolized respect and contemplation, marking this auspicious day with reverence and unity.
Also we organized a devotional songs program at the Gajaba Regiment, Sri Lanka Army. The event fostered cultural and spiritual harmony through soulful melodies, uniting students and regiment members in celebration of shared values and mutual respect.

Students from grades 6 to 9 embarked on an exciting journey to Kandy, while those in grades 10 to 13 explored the beautiful city of Galle on March 28th, 2024. It was a day filled with fun, learning, and exploration as students enjoyed exploring new places and making memories with friends.

It was a great opportunity for everyone to bond and stay active. We look forward to more adventures like this in the future!
On the 19th of June 2024, Wp/Ke/Udupila Weera Vijayaba Maha Vidyalaya proudly hosted its much-anticipated Prefect Badges Program, marking a significant moment in the school's calendar. This event not only honored the selected students but also symbolized their commitment to uphold the values of leadership, responsibility, and service within our school community.
The ceremony commenced with a sense of enthusiasm and pride, as students, teachers, and parents gathered to witness the investiture of the school's new prefects. Each prefect was selected for their exemplary conduct, academic achievement, and dedication to the school's ethos of excellence. These students have demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities, making them role models for their peers.
